ZONES OF THE OCEAN
The Light Zones:
There are 4 different types of light zones these are: Euphotic, Photic, Dispothic, and Aphotic. Here are the definitions for these zones:
Euphotic:
zone in where underwater photosynthesis can work, by having the enough sunlight that is necessary for this process.
Photic:
In this zone there is a measurable amount of sunlight.
Disphotic:
In this zone animals are completely able to each other and eat. However, plants are unable to grow here.
Aphotic:
In this zone there is no sunlight. The animals livings down there feed from dead plants and other organisms that fall into the ocean.

The Habitat Zones
This zone is form by 5 mini zones, these are :Abbysal, Bathyal, Hadal, Neritic, and Oceanic zones. Here are the types of mini zones:
Abbysal:
One third of the Earth is made of the Abbysal zone. This zone is just above the Hadal , which means that here is cold and still dark.
Bathyal:
In this zone the food and temperature easily fall into the deptest zones of the ocean.
Hadal:
This is the deepest zone in the ocean. We barely know information of that zone, however we know that it has a high-pressure conditions and it's really cold.
Neritic:
This zone is rich in plants, animals and nutrients that are carried from currents of land.
Oceanic:
In this zone, there is an abundant life of plankton .

Lifestyle Zones:
Marine life fall into just 4 groups: Epifauna, Plankton, Infauna and Nekton.
Nekton:
Are those that can propel themselves in the water.
Infauna:
Are creatures that crawl, and lie inside the sediments of seafloor.
Epifauna:
Here the animals and plants live atop the sea bottom.
Plankton:
Are floating organisms. They are the main and first part of all food chains.
